Annenberg/CPB Teaching Foreign Languages K-12: A Library of Classroom Practices: Illustrating effective instruction and assessment strategies, the series documents 27 teachers and their students in K-12 classrooms around the US as they study languages across a range of competency levels. Video clips with questions for analysis.

National Board for Professional Teaching Standards: NBPTS is dedicated to improving the teaching profession and postively impacting student learning. Explore ways you can get involved and learn more about becoming nationally certified.

Professional Development Plan: Wisconsin's PI34 law places requirements on initial and some professional educators to complete a professional development plan for license renewal. To receive a license to teach in Wisconsin it is necessary to demonstrate proficient performance in a number of standards. These can be found on the Wisconsin Educator Standards website.

Wisconsin's Model Academic Standards for Foreign Languages: The Wisconsin standards for foreign language learning reflect the latest research in the field of second language instruction as presented in ACTFL's document, "Standards for Foreign Language Learning: Preparing for the 21st Century."
